It’s never easy to step out of your comfort zone, let alone when a polar vortex is encroaching upon us and all you want to do is cozy up in bed for weeks at a time. This is the season when putting effort into an outfit is the last thing on your mind, let alone experimenting with colors and styles. Despite the dreary weather and the fact that finals have just drained your ability to do just about anything, doing something fresh and exciting with your wardrobe can actually be just what you need to get through the season.
I can preach all I want about changing it up, but just like all of you, my inspiration jar is pretty much drained. Thankfully, for us, we have roughly 2,000 sources of inspiration just waiting to be drawn from via this wonderful thing called #StyleGuruLove. I myself am a regular scroller and it is where I found the idea for this article.
This winter, add a little gold to your wardrobe and illuminate the dreary world around you. While it may not be the easiest color to work in to your regular wardrobe, once you check out how these Fashionistas did it, doing it yourself will be a breeze.
