We’ve all been there, staring into your closet on a bright summer day trying to put together the perfect outfit. It’s a little breezy so that super cute sundress might not be the best idea, but jean shorts seem too casual. That’s where this amazing, all-in-one, works-for-everything outfit comes in: the romper. Rompers are my personal go-to for every summertime adventure. They are so convenient to throw on when you’re in a rush, so you can still look like a million bucks without taking an hour to put your outfit together. Plus, rompers come in all sorts of styles. Whether it be the romper/maxi, jumpsuits, or the overalls that are back in (thank goodness).
These outfits work for everything, you can wear rompers to weddings, picnics, on dates, to the beach—anywhere you want to go, rompers have got your back. Add your favorite statement earrings to dress it up, or dress it down with some sneakers and simple accessories.
In the photos above you can see two different ways to wear a romper, one being a dressier look and the other being more laid-back. The first look is a white, long sleeve romper with floral detailing around the shoulders and hips. I didn’t know this until after I got it (talk about relatable), but there are also slits along the sleeves that I’ve grown to love in the warm weather we’ve been having lately. I paired this romper with some tan thong sandals and a pair of gold sunglasses to match.
The second outfit is more on the casual side, I found these overalls at a thrift store—the best way to shop if you ask me—and cut the pants into shorts at home. I paired this with a simple white T-shirt underneath, and a pair of white tennis shoes.
