When people ask me my favorite season, I think I end up unnecessarily screaming, “fall” before they can even finish the sentence. What can I say? I am passionate about the season, I suppose. But it’s not for the reasons you think. In fact, I hate pumpkin spiced lattes and have never been a fan of costume parties so Halloween isn’t my thing, either.
The main reason I am a fall fan comes down to that I l-o-v-e layers. I fully prescribe to the more is more is more (is more) approach to layering up. Given my admiration for layers, summer tends to be a bit trickier. With temperatures consistently in the 90s, I barely want to wear a shirt let alone multiple.
Luckily, I have noticed a major summer trend that is not only warm weather friendly, but allows me to get my layer fix on. Fashionistas have been ditching the single necklace look and opting instead to pile them on, mixing single strands with chokers, bandanas with statement collars. The combinations are endless, allowing you to layer up, look cool and stay cool during these final weeks of summer.
