If it seems like having serious style, an obsession with fashion and just generally being super #RAD individuals comes naturally to our Style Gurus, you would be right.
That is because behind all those boyfriend, skinny and high-waisted jeans are some seriously trendy genes. Where do you think they got their fashion prowesses from? They got it from their mamas, of course.
Moms are, in a word, the best. Maybe it is because our angsty high school years are behind us or perhaps it’s that you don’t realize how good a home cooked meal is until you are living off Thai take-out and Hot Pockets, but college is the time you really come to respect all the things your mom has done for you.
It is also the time you realize how much you are literally becoming your mom. You begin to look more alike (and even embarrassingly/not-so-embarrassingly share clothes). You realize those unique quirks that are “so mom” are now part of your own personality. You laugh at the same jokes, text nonstop and share a mutual affection for Taylor Swift. not just because you are family, but now you are also friends.
