If you’ve seen How I Met Your Mother, you are most likely familiar with Barney Stinson’s famous quote, “Suit up!” Clearly Barney isn’t so great at keeping up with fashion trends because if he was, the quote would be, “Jumpsuit up!”
Dresses, tanks, flowy skirts, and shorts become a force of habit when it comes to choosing your outfit during the warmer seasons. I, too, am guilty of falling into these styles. However, there is something that I am constantly seeing in all of the stores I shop in this season, and it’s jumpsuits. While jumpsuits can be intimidating, they can easily become the most versatile pieces in your wardrobe. I find them to be comfortable, stylish, and one of the easiest garments to accessorize.
This Fashionista created her own look with two different types of jumpsuits and accessorized them to match her style. For the first outfit, she dressed down her strapless jumpsuit with a casual denim jacket and a pair of easy black platform sandals. The next jumpsuit was so effortless as well. She just paired it with the same shoes and accessorized it with a simple black belt. While these jumpsuits are styled very casually, they can also be turned into a great outfit to wear out at night by exchanging the sandals for a pair of heels and adding a statement necklace.
So go on… jumpsuit up!
