We don’t care what the lunar calendar says, to us, June is the official start of summer! The weather is consistently warm (and getting warmer). Your calendar is quickly filling-up with beach days, music festivals, barbecues and mini getaways. Plus the whole “no class” thing isn’t so bad either. It seems like everything is brighter this month, and not just the weather. The fashion, the flowers, heck even people’s dispositions are sunny! What’s not to love about June?
But your summer isn’t all about working on your tan—it’s also about working to make a name for yourself in your internship. Even if you are stuck in an office from 9-5, bring the sunshine indoors by shining in every task you are giving. Be a stickler for details. Ask thoughtful questions. Be the star intern and become a valued member of the team.
