With the official first day of summer quickly approaching, it’s important to amp up your wardrobe to prepare for the heat but still stay chic! One trend that has been thriving ever since our childhood days is the matching set. What’s there not to love? Perfect for the days when it seems utterly impossible to put together an ensemble. And better yet, you’re able to make a few outfits out of the two pieces! When everyone on Instagram has already seen a post of you sporting your matching set, you can then pair the top with different bottoms and vice versa.
This bohemian chic matching set is perfect for summer days. The matching top and shorts are a flattering color for all skin tones, also embracing the beautiful embroidered pattern. Balance is important when it comes to a matching set and this one perfectly balanced the focused embroidery on the top and a touch of it on the shorts.
Although the embroidery was the star of the show for this set, accessories are always a must! I wore a silver choker to complement the mirrored embellishments throughout the pattern. As for my purse, I opted for a white crossbody bag to create some contrast. Accessories give life to every outfit, especially a summertime matching set!
For this specific set, I decided to wear a pair of tan caged sandals. I loved how the tan sandals looked with the color of this set versus black, it gave more of a summer feel.
