Calling all shoe lovers! Shoes are an essential part of our day to day lives. Yes, you probably only need a few pairs, but also you need to reward your feet from getting you place to place every day with an abundance of footwear. Having a different pair for each day or maybe like four to five different pairs for each day is totally fine. You don’t have a shoe problem; you have a collection of beautiful pieces of artwork that show your personality and frame your feet. Now for this upcoming summer, I want to share some of my absolute favorite shoes with you.
Heels can sometimes hurt your feet, but heels also make your legs look so long and so good. Pain is beauty, am I right? My new obsession is platforms! Platform sandals are so cute to wear with jeans or to pair with a dress or skirt. They come in so many different styles and colors, that there is literally a pair for everyone. They might look intimidating to walk in, but trust me, your feet won’t be wanting to fall off after a night out. Also, not only are platform sandals a favorite of mine, but platform tennis shoes are as well. I definitely am about to purchase the white Superga platform tennis shoes with my next paycheck.
Sliding onto my next go-to is… slides! Slide sandals are perfect for the pool, the town, and even a night out. There are endless options to go with so many different outfits. They have ones that are rubber, leather, fur, cork, and almost anything imaginable, maybe even meat. Okay, maybe not meat slides, but maybe ask 2010 Lady Gaga. My personal favorite is the Adidas Original slides. Clearly, slides are no longer just a thing for boys who play basketball.
Lastly, you need to get yourself a pair of Old Skool Vans. The need for a classic shoe is always present. Old Skool Vans or shoes like them are always going to be in trend for the most part and are super cute and affordable. If you are curious to know what my favorite pair is… they are the blush-colored, low top Old Skool Vans. So cute, so simple.
