No winter jacket is more on trend right now than a classic puffer. Whether you’re looking to save a buck and get one that only needs to last you the season, or invest in a high-quality jacket that’s bound to keep you warm for seasons to come, I’ve got you covered. Splurge with a trendy matte J.Crew puffer, or save with a trendy, yet cheap high-shine puffer from Target.

Oversized Peacoat
Alright let’s be honest, peacoats definitely teeter more towards the side of style rather than warmth, but we had to make an exception for this classic coat. On the left, we have a chic red plaid peacoat from Revolve. On the right, we have a fuzzy, sherpa-like, peacoat from Target.
Depending on your interest in keeping this coat around, you may want to splurge with the higher price point. But if you’re like me and you’re not sure you’re stylish enough to pull off the peacoat vibe (don’t worry, you are!), the Target price point might be more appealing.Â

Did someone say Apres ski?! You’re bound to be the most stylish one on the slopes in either of these ski jackets. While both have higher price points, these jackets should be seen as an investment or something that will last you through the years. I haven’t skied or snowboarded in years, and as more of a *chalet girl* myself, I couldn’t pass up an opportunity to show off this Cynthia Rowley x Roxy jacket in the splurge category.
