Now most of us have returned to college, and if you’re like me and the majority of my campus, you’ve dedicated yourself to going to the gym as a New Year’s resolution or beginning of the semester resolution. Now, for some of us, this resolution may not last. I have pledged myself to the gym at the beginning of every semester I’ve been in college, and it usually ends pretty quickly. But it isn’t just me—the gym is practically at capacity the first two weeks of the semester, but then gets more and more empty as the gym goers drop like flies. So, how can you stick to your gym resolutions, you ask? I have your answer.
With some stylish new workout gear!
Your gym attire doesn’t have to be all baggy sweats and ratty T-shirts. You can catch some eyes and kick some butt in an outfit like this Fashionista. Stores like T.J. Maxx carry great athletic wear that’s so cute and affordable, or you can shop Kate Hudson’s new Fabletics line (I’ve heard great things from everyone who’s tried them), and there is always Lululemon for premium athletic style.
I spotted this sporty Fashionista headed for the gym, looking stylish in a Patagonia baseball cap, Lululemon leggings, and a workout top. She added a pop of color to the all-black ensemble with vibrant blue Nike sneakers. She clearly knows that you can workout and look great at the same time!
