One might think that it’s possible to wear too much black, but it’s not. All-black everything is the way to go around here. My eyes went to this Fashionista for inspiration because she knows how to dress for the occasion (or weather). Being in style, but not being freezing cold can be a difficult task sometimes. A simple black sweater with a classic pair of black ripped jeans is always a safe route to take when it’s a cold finals week, but also wanting to look presentable.
Black and brown: some people don’t like it, but in this case, I love it! Pairing a basic pair of brown boots or any pair of brown shoes with many different outfits works. In this outfit specifically, they are worn in a casual manner to brace with the cold, snowy weather, but even paired with a patterned dress with tights would be on point as well. Throwing on some gold jewelry, as well as a watch, makes the accessories stand out as a staple to the whole outfit.
The color black will be in style for a while and doesn’t seem to be leaving any time soon. As the snow starts to slowly fall, I definitely expect to see more of the color black and hope more people will go out on a limb by pairing brown with it, whether it’s shoes or a simple leather jacket. I know I’ll be pulling out more of the black clothing, even though that’s a majority of what I wear already.
