This bipolar East Coast winter has everybody confused over what to wear on any given day. Its hard to imagine that when I met with this Fashionisto outside the dorms on a beautiful Thursday afternoon, it felt like a beautiful spring afternoon, and here I am writing to you guys during a snow storm a few days later.
Makes it pretty difficult to choose an outfit everyday, but this Fashionisto did it right with this back to basics look, that can be transformed to fit any occasion from comfortable to classy. You can never go wrong with black and white, especially solid black jeans paired with a graphic T-shirt. Add a black blazer and dress shoes and you have an edgy, yet classy outfit for work.
Instead, this Fashionisto chose the comfortable route for walking around campus and going to class. Pairing the simple look with yet another black and white piece for the jacket. But what makes this style complete is the pop of color that was added with the rainbow striped bag, and red shoes.
Go with a black and white classic look, but always add a pop of color to stand out. This Fashionisto’s outfit would not be the same without the red shoes to pull everything together, but without becoming tacky. You can never go wrong with neutrals but adding a little red, green, or even yellow could make a style go from totally chic to totally unique.
