Twenty-seventeen has been off to a great start. The weather has been in the high sixties, and we are taking full advantage of this here in Nashville. Not only does this mean we don’t have to freeze when walking outside, it means we don’t have to wear layers upon layers. It gives us an opportunity to wear a trendy outfit just like this Fashionista.
If there is one thing that I absolutely love about transitioning into different seasons, it’s boots. Ankle booties specifically are my favorite way to dress up a casual outfit. This Fashionista is wearing some black buckle booties. They take the outfit to the next level, giving it some a fun edge.
I personally love pairing short dresses with jeans, just like she does here. A simple cotton dress over some jeans is such a quick and easy outfit when you have no idea what to wear. Not to mention, it looks unique and different. Since the dress doesn’t have too much going on pattern wise, she has accessorized with some rings and a necklace. These add just the right amount of flare without over doing it. This cross necklace is perfect for a little accessory! It is simple, yet very pretty. It doesn’t distract from the overall outfit, which is always the goal.
