If you’re like me, you know the near impossibility of picking the exact right outfit every day to match your vibe and setting. I spend at least an hour and five different pairings to get the look I want, and it’s always the seventh outfit I try that works.
While I’ve been in Europe I’ve noticed the effortlessness of the ensembles of everyday women, even when they’re just taking out the trash. Seeing this started me thinking that getting dressed in the morning for them is probably nothing, a second thought, not the main problem. So I tried playing around with the style myself getting my inspiration from this Fashionista’s effortlessly chic look.
First things first, gauchos are making a comeback in Europe and soon will be in the States too. It’s okay, at first I resisted as well, I mean who wouldn’t after looking back on our pictures from elementary school and junior high? But not to worry the style is new and improved and the fabric is not that stretchy cotton we all used to just love. It’s now a structured pant that gives nice shape and allows more give than jeans. The high-wasted aspect has to be my favorite, especially after living and eating in Italy for four months.
This Fashionista starts her look off with the new and improved gauchos pairing them with simple yet chic black booties; and to add some color, making the outfit more her own, a spin off of a banana leaf print for her top. To finish the look she adds a black chain purse and killer pink lip. The easiness of this Fashionista’s look accentuates how chic her style is and is now one of my new go-to outfits!
