This time of year is all about staying stylish and staying warm. In my opinion, you do not need a million items, accessories, or layers to put together a trendy outfit. All you really need is one or two statement pieces to accomplish a showstopping ensemble. It could be a really cute shoe, or an adorable jacket that pulls an outfit together. It only takes one statement piece to make an outfit great. The statement piece or pieces will be the first thing that people notice.
This Fashionista caught my eye due to her absolutely adorable trench coat. She found this coat at T.J. Maxx, where you are always able to find great, affordable buys. Its fitted look and cinched waist show off her physique, and is insulated well to keep her extra warm. The pale mauve color adds the perfect amount of spring fever, even with the single digit degree weather we are experiencing. Another statement piece she added to this outfit was a heavy necklace with a cluster of pink daisies. Even though it is a small addition to the mauve jacket, it pulls together the pinkish tones of this look exceptionally. She paired her favorite skinny jeans with the jacket, which she agrees you can’t go wrong with. The last piece of her go-to class outfit are the cute, brown, leather booties with a little heel. The statement piece on this Fashionista would be her jacket. Everything else revolves around it, and the other colors in the outfit complement it.
