In my opinion, nothing is better than leather. Leather is one of the most versatile materials in the fashion industry. Leather can be used for shoes, dresses, skirts and even purses. Leather even comes in different colors. There is really no other material that beats it.
Leather started to resurface in 2012 with its huge come back. Ever since, leather has remained on-trend. Leather has become more sophisticated as time has gone on. We all remember the leather biker jackets from the 1980s that have left a mark on the fashion industry. I mean, what guy would not want to wear the leather jacket John Travolta wore in Grease. But leather has definitely moved on since that decade. Now, leather is available in a variety of styles, and even in lighter materials. Women have also learned to love leather, and today it is not hard to find clothing made of leather.
When looking for a simple leather look, definitely look at today’s Fashionista. She definitely knows how to rock her gray leather dress from BB Dakota. She also tops the look with color blocked Dolce Vita heels and a head wrapped headband to hold back her hair. This leather dress is great for a special occasion or even just for a day at work. You can even wear this dress out to dinner, or a night on the town. This look proves how versatile leather can be. This is an easy dress to dress up, or dresses down.
