Spring has sprung! It’s that time of the year again when you get to bring out all of your dainty dresses and pastel prints. There’s something about springtime that makes me feel a little more sweet and happy. Whether it’s the newfound warmth or the budding blooms, I’m always excited about the spring season. As much as I love winter, it’s always nice to ditch the layers and wear things more airy and light. It doesn’t hurt that I’m also a huge fan of all things ivory and white.
Since it’s about that time to spring into spring, I thought I’d share my favorite trend this upcoming season. A timeless spring trend for me is lace. Don’t get me wrong, light colors and fabrics can be rocked all throughout the year, but there’s something sweet about lace in the springtime. This bright, soft and magical fabric is the epitome of femininity. There’s a reason lace comes back season after season in fashion. Although lace clothing this spring will come in an assortment pastels, dark shades and styles, this Fashionista sports classic white lace. I love how her look puts a feminine flare on a somewhat casual outfit. Her white lace top pops against her burnt orange pants. With this contrast, you can really see the dainty details on her top for a more romantic touch.
There are so many ways to wear lace that make it such a fun staple piece for spring. Keep your look soft and crisp with all white details, or spice things up with colorful jewels and accessories. Experimenting with new trends is what fashion is all about!
