This Fashionista is rocking a great turtleneck. Before this winter, I thought turtlenecks were strictly for my grandma (love you grandma). However, stores like H&M, Forever 21 and Topshop completely changed my mind. Similar to this Fashionista’s turtleneck, they are fitted, in neutral colors and keep your neck nice and cozy.
Turtlenecks are great if you’re tired of your typical sweater. This Fashionista made her turtleneck stand out by pairing it with dark wash, high-waisted jeans. The light gray contrasts perfectly with the dark wash of the jeans. The high-waisted jeans balance out the high neckline so that your torso doesn’t look ridiculously long. The buttons on the sleeves add a unique touch. By pairing her turtleneck with black booties and a nude lipstick, she created a grungier look. Her rings, socks and necklace make the outfit pop by adding in little spurts of color that help break up the gray, blue and black.
