Ok everyone, it’s finally time. Winter is here. Get ready to shuffle to class trying not to slip on black ice. Get ready to continue ordering iced coffee even though it’s 20 degrees outside. Get ready to mentally prepare yourself every time you have to leave your dorm. But hey, it all becomes worth it when you see snow falling and feel like a kid in a winter wonderland. Just a reminder, I’m an L.A. kid about to spend my second winter in Massachusetts, so I have a right to be a little scared. Thank goodness for winter fashion or else I would be panicking a little (I mean, I kinda already am, but it’s okay if I panic in a cute sweater right?). Having a favorite jacket, shoes or hat that you feel good in really makes the winter a little more bearable.
This season, try out a faux fur coat or vest! You would be surprised by how warm they are. Adding fur is simple way to add a lot of flair to your outfit. Who doesn’t want to feel glamorous even when it is a tundra outside? Faux fur coats and vests have made a huge comeback and can be worn both casually and dressed up. This Fashionista paired her fur vest with a long sleeve lace-up top, which has also made its way into the spotlight. Lace-up tops allow for a little more skin to be showing but can still be appropriate for everyday wear. This top is versatile and can be worn when grabbing lunch or hitting the town. It’s another great way to add some glamour without being too flashy.
