It’s difficult to rock a black on black ensemble without looking like you are going to a funeral or seeming unapproachable. When done the right way, black on black can look chic and classic. What I love about wearing all-black is you do not have to worry about matching colors, not to mention it is very slimming when you are trying to hide the freshman 15.
I have recently been a fan of wearing all-black because it makes me feel so cool yet put together. This kind of look makes me want to sit in a café drinking a latte, working on something creative!
This Fashionista took Temple University by storm with this look. It is perfect for the transitioning fall weather when it is too cold for shorts, but you still do not need a jacket. She took a black high-neck crop top and paired it with high-waisted black skinny jeans. I personally think crop tops and anything high-waisted are a match made in heaven. I also enjoy how she made the outfit more her by throwing on layered bracelets and necklaces. She chose to rock combat boots with her look, but basically any shoe can be worn with this outfit. To keep her look toned down, she kept her makeup and hair natural. The combination of all-black attire and natural makeup and hair reminded me of Parisian style.
What is your STYLE ADVICE OF THE WEEK? “Head to toe black is great for the fall and instantly makes you look put together! If you do not want to jump straight in with this trend, try adding a colorful touch to the outfit like a bright scarf or statement bag.”
