For those of us who are at southern schools, it’s safe to say that we probably won’t be getting typical fall weather for another month; however, that doesn’t mean we can’t make a transition into fall colors! This Fashionista utilized this trend by pairing together a burgundy babydoll dress and a pair of white Birkenstock sandals. Let’s be honest, it’s a struggle trying to look cute for a class that starts at 8:00 a.m. but this look is a perfect way to look fashionable and still remain comfortable.
The funny thing about Birkenstocks is that these shoes were a huge trend back in the 2000s, so it’s amazing seeing how they have come back full circle. When I was in middle school, we would not wear the real Birkenstock shoes, but all of us would be sporting our Beaver Creeks! To me, this is the greatest thing about the fashion industry. We have trends that come and go, and then 10 years later we see them become trendy and chic again!
