One of the most exciting things about the weather getting warmer is the ability to introduce new textures and patterns into our everyday outfits. This freedom is first exerted at Coachella where all the amazing bohemian, Western and chic styles come out. From sunglasses to vintage jewelry, Coachella sets a high standard for trends throughout the summer.
This Fashionista was catching everyone’s attention around campus due to how bohemian and trendy her outfit was. The first thing I noticed was her high-wasted denim shorts with a huge belt that hung just enough to acquire a laid-back vibe. Her Aztec style tank top was actually a dress that she tucked into high-wasted shorts. To remain warm she paired this tank top with a black leather jacket.
One of my favorite parts about this outfit is the Fashionista’s nude wedges. The nude coloring allows all the darker tones and textures in her outfit to get the attention while giving her enough height. To match the gorgeous nude wedges she wore a nude choker that was tied around her neck three times. This Fashionista also wore a gold necklace with Quinnipiac’s coordinates on it! To finish this bohemian style off, this Fashionista wore her hair in a half bun and circle Ray-Bans glasses.
What is your STYLE ADVICE OF THE WEEK? “I definitely tried channeling Coachella in this outfit. I love the balance high-wasted denim shorts give you to get a little more creative with other pieces like my tank top and choker necklace.”
