The leaves are falling and the air is getting cooler, which means my favorite season for fashion is upon us. There is not much more I love than fall fashion trends. Boots, cardigans, light jackets, rich colors… I love, love, LOVE fall fashion and everything that comes with it.
This month I have chosen to feature a Fashionista who happens to sit right next to me in my human resources class. She showed up in the cutest black bomber jacket and the most darling short brown boots. I knew immediately this was exactly what I had to talk about.
Cardigans or light jackets are very necessary in the fall. It is not quite cold enough for your winter jacket, but you can’t exactly walk outside in a T-shirt either. The black bomber jacket is a great basic for any fall wardrobe; black goes with everything, and you can dress the bomber jacket up or down to go with many different outfits.
On the subject of cooler weather, I regret to say that it’s time to toss the sandals to the back of the closet and pull out your boots. Luckily, boots happen to come in as many varieties as sandals these days, and there are so many options to choose from when picking your favorite fall boot. I love a classic short boot with some kind of buckle. This Fashionista is rocking the cutest pair of short boots with her cuffed jeans, another fall staple that I just adore.
Overall, this look screams fall staples. So ladies (and gentlemen), go out and find yourself that pair of boots—or five—that you love and invest in the perfect little light jacket. You will be surprised how many ways you can pair your jackets and boots with a variety of outfits.
