Hey, lets admit it. We all share this moment when we see this incredibl, beautiful item on runways or in a store that is absolutely to die for. You know it could make you stand out in crowds. You know it elevates your taste level in fashion. You know you will just be thrilled in it. However, your fantasy shatters when you feel like you cannot pull it off. Wearing it will simply make you look like a clown.
My jealousy got hold of me when I met this Fashionista. She looks naturally confident in this pair of denim culottes. Many, including me of course, are intimidated by culottes. I have always been skeptical and afraid of trying them on even though the models look absolute stunning on the runway wearing the culottes. Without the body of a model, I could easily look like a dwarf in them. That is why I was amazed when I met this Fashionista . She totally pulled them item off with her styling skill.
The Fashionista chose high-waisted denim culottes and paired them with a simple T-shirt that is tucked in the pants. This helps to elongate the figure since culottes tend to make the wearer shorter. To achieve a more casual look, the Fashionista put on a pair of Converse shoes. She put on an oversized ’40s jacket, which added a vintage element to the look. The Fashionista did not forget to brighten up the whole look by adding a neon, cross-body bag. The whole look achieved was vintage, casual, and it definitely added a lot of personality to the Fashionista.
What is your STYLE ADVICE OF THE WEEK? “My main focus is to always find ways to elongate your figure by tucking in the top to reveal more of the bottoms or wear a pair of heels to lengthen the proportion.”
