July can be a hectic time. We are already half way through the summer, and that means pool parties, backyard barbecues and trips to the beach. The Fourth of July is obviously one of the biggest events of the summer, though.
I was taking a stroll down my street when I first saw this Fashionista on her way to a backyard cocktail party. Decked out in her red, white and blue, I had to snap her photo because I fell in love with her outfit instantly. This Fashionista had a classic, sophisticated and stylish esthetic with a fun flare to it.
When I saw her outfit, I was happy to see that rompers are back and better then ever this summer! Her romper was perfect for a hot summer day, as it was made out of a light and breezy fabric with a tasteful cutout on the front. Florals are back this summer, and this romper had a fun modern take with the bright red blooms. Bright and bold, full-on prints are the way. On her feet were a cute pair of navy sandals, which helped bring out the darker tones in the outfit. Paired with that was a structured navy tote. Her accessories included a collection of white, gold and pearl pieces. With a stylish white and gold bracelet, classic pearl earrings and a beautiful ring, the look was really pulled together.
The best part of this outfit was that it would easily be transitioned from day to night with a simple change of shoes and jewelry. When I asked where she was going, she said a backyard cocktail party down the street. She said the romper was easy to throw on for her busy day and evening. The flat sandals were comfortable enough to walk around in and all day. The romper was definitely the highlight of her whole look because it made a great pop; it was definitely a 4th of July summer statement.
