Down in Elon, North Carolina, cowboy boots are an essential in every girl’s wardrobe. Even though most of the students are actually from up north, it’s fun to be able to go to school in the south and incorporate these boots into your everyday outfits. Whether paired with your favorite sundress or a pair of ripped jeans, cowboy boots can work well to add a stylish but casual look to most outfits. Although some stray away from cowboy boots and think the trend is only for those living down south or out west, these boots look great when matched with the appropriate outfit on a spring day.
My personal favorite way to wear cowboy boots is to throw them on with a dress. Cowboy boots spice up a plain, boring dress, but they add even more pizzazz to a fun, patterned dress. This Fashionista is rocking a multi-color dress with a tribal pattern that incorporates a lot of fun, bright colors. The loose fit of the dress gives it an airy, boho feel and the mustard colored cardigan goes along nicely with the yellow tones of the dress. The thin cardigan also acts as a way to keep this Fashionista warm if temperatures drop throughout the day. Her brown leather cowboy boots add the perfect touch to the outfit and give the look that southern feel. Rather than pairing the dress with sandals, this Fashionista took a fashion risk and threw on some boots, which paid off in her cute and trendy outfit.
