I can finally say it: SPRING IS HERE! It’s been a mixture of cold and warm weather, high winds and of course rain, so it is a tad bit hard getting dressed in the morning. Luckily, if you are a Fashionista/o, you know how to pull off an outfit no matter what the weather conditions are.
I’ve only recently started paying close attention to fashion trends, and this year is filled with some great trends that I just love. One of my favorite trends right now is the button-down skirt. I’ve seen this trend in corduroy, faux suede and so many other fabrics and textures. The one sported on this Fashionista is denim with brown buttons. This skirt stands out from the outfit because it’s a super popular trend with young consumers. I have seen it at so many retailers like Macy’s, Topshop and Express. It’s also paired with black, which I find that an item is going to pop more when put with black because it is a basic color.
She paired the skirt with black combat boots and an army green camouflage top with a gray top around her waist. A black sweater is worn for the crazy weather we have been experiencing.
