If you haven’t already figured, the golden state gets plenty of sunshine even during winter. It’s almost like winter doesn’t exist. Walking through campus, I spotted plenty of Fashionistas/os rocking some early spring and summer trends. However this Fashionisto stood out. He made his outfit choice seem effortless and incredibly comfortable. If you have ever been to a campus that is in the middle of the forest, you know your number one priority is to be comfortable.
This Fashionisto is wearing some classy khaki shorts pairing it along with a denim button-down shirt. The classic combination of the colors beige and blue is almost timeless. Needless to say, this look caught my attention right away. The outfit is my definition of what a Californian beach boy would wear. Just add a pair of sandals, some simple accessories and you are good to go. He chose to accessorize with a couple of string and bead bracelets to go along with his watch. I was honestly impressed there was even such a thing because sometimes Fashionistos forget to accessorize and let’s be honest, accessories make the whole look complete.
Though accessorizing is important, it was the denim button-down shirt that caught my attention. The small details on the shirt make the shirt itself stand out. We have seen the denim trend come and disappear, but I believe this trend is here to stay for a while. Denim is such a classic look that can be paired with almost anything. Any Fashionista/o can definitely rock this look because it’s so versatile. Trade the khaki pants for some white denim jeans and brown sandals and you have a completely different look that can be worn by Fashionistas as well. This Fashionisto did a great job of styling a look all while keeping up with the trends.
