Being comfortable doesn’t mean sacrificing your fashion sense. During this odd time of year when the weather is getting warmer but the chilly winds are still blowing out here on the east coast, it is easy to give up on putting together an outfit. The weather discourages us from looking our best because it changes from day to day. But don’t let the gray skies get you down! One Fashionista tells it like it is and reminds that staying comfortable is staying true to ourselves.
Comfort is more than just an idea, it’s an accessory. It goes beyond just throwing on sweatpants and a sweatshirt. In order to be comfortable in our own skin we must be comfortable in what we have chosen to put on. By pairing a bigger sweater over a dress or a shirt and some leggings, we take comfort up a notch to fashionable.
This Fashionista does a great job of embracing her feminine side while staying comfortable. Her army green T-shirt dress with her draping black sweater keeps things relaxed but girly. The tights complement the pop of black along with her smooth leather Dr. Martens, however her frilly socks give the outfit a little pop of fun. This Fashionista let her accessories, such as her shoes and glasses, speak for themselves. The once Ray-Ban sunglasses have now become chic wire rimmed distance glasses, adding the final touch to her outfit.
There are many ways to be comfortable when choosing an outfit. However, the most important thing is being comfortable in your own skin. Pick an outfit you feel you look best in. Look good, feel good!
