Let’s give a round of applause to Syracuse University for remaining ever so stylish during this intense game of tug of war that winter and spring are having here up north. In our first week of spring, we have endured hail, sleet, snow, rain and quite a bit of sunshine. My usual hunt for a Fashionista/o didn’t feel so much like a hunt this week. Campus was every Style Guru’s dream. As everyone slowly comes out of their seasonal depression after such a brutal winter, this week’s fashion is just the beginning.
If you haven’t caught on by now, I am the minimalist of all minimalist. I live for neutrals, white, gray and most of all, black. I think I can speak for us all when I say, all-black outfits are very much appreciated in fashion. What’s there not to love?
This Fashionisto did an awesome job adding a bit of spring to his minimalist outfit. For Fashionistos, V-neck T-shirts are a must have. This particular one featured a half button-down panel and the dark heather gray color adds great texture to the look. This Fashionisto kept it casual by pairing his V-neck with these black fitted joggers. To take the look from casual to cool boy chic, he finished off the look with a tailored blazer and these eye-catching sneakers. I fell in love with the abstract look and colors of these sneakers. They add the perfect pop of color without taking away from the simplicity of the look.
STYLE ADVICE OF THE WEEK:Â “Wear what you like and what is comfortable, not what is popular.”
