Your girls are ready for a night of adventure or your boyfriend calls to have a romantic dinner. You’ve been working all day and just don’t have the patience to change 10 times before heading out. Being a Fashionista, your outfit of the night probably stresses you out more than your job does—or is that just me? Crochet shorts have become extremely popular this season, and I am now declaring them a staple in every Fashionista’s summer wardrobe, especially in black. They can be worn during the day with a casual top, or dressed up for a more elegant type of evening, such as the look we see on this Fashionista.
As you can see, her shorts (which are my favorite color—black of course) are detailed with crochet and are also scalloped with crochet at the hem of the shorts. She paired it with a bright cobalt top. If you’re one of those people that don’t count black as a color, you can consider this my color of choice. I like how she chose a blouse with a simple silhouette that still makes a bold statement. It is the perfect way to style these intricately detailed shorts.
