Here in Flagstaff, Arizona, winter has struck. We’re experiencing freezing winds and snow quite frequently and unpredictably. With the unpredictable and rather chilly weather upon us, it is a must to bundle and layer. When it comes to staying warm there is no need to wear a boring ensemble. There are plenty of trends that can keep you nice and toasty while also making you look extremely chic. One of the trends I am in love with right now is fur—faux fur, that is!
I used to be incredibly scared to try this trend. I didn’t think an average ensemble could do fur justice. After seeing fur vests, jackets, scarves and hats in so many magazines and runway shows, I knew it was something I had to try! I have fallen in love with this look. Pairing a black fur vest with a skirt or a pair of dark skinny jeans can make such a chic but easy ensemble. You can also do a brown fur vest with bell-bottom jeans and have more of an earthy, cool outfit. The options are endless, but no matter what option you decide on, the faux fur in your look will keep you warm and toasty for any kind of weather.
