Crisscross shirts and chokers have been showing up everywhere these days. I have to say it took me awhile to jump on this trend as it was a little outside my normal fashion choices. But once I took that leap, I have not looked back. I have my own little collection of chokers and fashion pieces with the crisscross detail. There are so many Fashionistas out there also rocking these trends, sometimes even together, and that is where I got my inspiration from. Those college girls out there expressing themselves with not only one, but two current fashion trends.
The crisscross detail can be found on almost any kind of clothing. Seriously…almost anything. I have even seen it on jeans! This trend can be worn in so many different ways. You can make it casual, like our Fashionista has in the images, or dress it up for a night out on the town. This even goes for the choker trend. Most people will adopt to wearing the basic black choker, which is extremely versatile in itself. But companies are quickly introducing chokers that are lace, bedazzled, velvet, silver, gold, etc. You could wear this trend with practically anything and it will look amazing and trendy.
Our Fashionista being featured is showing us just one way to rock both of the trends. Styled in clothes and accessories from Constance Boutique, she starts off her outfit with the basics. She is wearing light wash, distressed denim and a suede shirt with the crisscross detailing. To tie in the choker trend, she is wearing a gold and black choker with a light blue accent. To finish the outfit you could throw on some heeled booties and a hat and you are good to go, just like this Fashionista!
