We live in an era where clothing has become more form fitting. Bodycon dresses, skirts that hug the body and the like are fairly common among women’s fashion, especially girls in college. While any item that clings to the body has the reputation of accentuating the figure, it may not “fit” everyone’s style. For those who may not necessarily be a big fan of the tight-all-over look, a balance can be reached by adding some flair.
This Fashionista decided to balance tight and loose articles of clothing. She is wearing a high-waisted blue skirt that clings to her waist and hips, but flairs out on the bottom. The combination of loose and tight is both interesting to the eye and extremely flattering on the body. The leather detailing adds an edgier element to a feminine piece and picks up on the black leather of her ankle boots. Her boots also elongate the legs because of their slight heel. However, they are still short enough to be comfortable for a lot of walking throughout the day. The Fashionista’s top also incorporates the flowy element seen in the skirt; the sleeves are tight until they flair out at the ends. As some final touches, she is wearing a playful necklace with mixed blue stones, gold ring and statement black and gold watch.
