There are typical trends and color palettes for every season. Spring is known for the pastels, the cropped jeans and my personal favorite: florals. Your typical floral prints will consist of lighter colors on maybe a top or scarf. However, this Fashionista went a different route with her blossoming look wearing some dark high-waisted floral shorts.
I was so in love with this Fashionista’s shorts from the moment I saw them. Although they blended pretty well with her outfit, the shorts still made a statement. It’s refreshing to see something other than the usual pastel floral pattern this time of year. She decided to go casual for class with a denim chambray shirt, white crop top and high-top Converse. If you can’t already tell, white Converse are a huge staple here at ISU. They go perfectly with just about everything, and are especially a good match for high-waisted shorts!
Floral shorts similar to this Fashionista’s may be an even better purchase rather than something brighter (not that I don’t love a good pop of color) just because they are more versatile. They can make for a low-key statement in a casual class look, or be dressed up with some heels for a night out! Surprisingly enough, the combination options are a wide range for floral shorts.
