It is officially the end of the semester here at Kennesaw State University and we all could not be any happier. Time to go back home and dodge questions about school and eat some better food (no offense KSU). It’s been a long, hard semester and I’m ready for some rest and a new start.
There are not many items of clothing a guy could wear and catch my attention besides a really nice sweater. I’m serious! It’s obviously the northerner in me that just gravitates to everything winter-related. Coincidentally, knit sweaters have been popping up on men’s runways this past fall season and I could not be more thankful.
Knits are a must for winter not only because they keep you warm if you’re fortunate (or unfortunate) enough to get cold weather but also because they are versatile. From work to snuggling on your couch to binge watch Netflix, you will always look good. Knit sweaters have been featured on various runways like J.Crew with their focus on printed knit sweaters along with designers Antonio Marras. Ralph Lauren and Todd Snyder have opted for more traditional looks.
When I first saw this Fashionisto’s outfit I was horrified. A Lady Gaga concert T-shirt—no hate, I adore her—skinny jeans, beat up Vans and a sweater? Is he crazy, who let him out of his apartment like that? But the more I looked at it, I started to really like the whole ensemble. It’s amazing how casual he made the sweater look but still looked put together. Who knew a T-shirt and a nice sweater would go together?
