Spring is here, and the boys aren’t letting the girls take all the shine. In this year’s spring/summer collections from the runway, denim has made its way into our hearts, not just in the form of jeans. Prada’s menswear collection has given us life with denim blazers and smoking jackets. Miuccia Prada has taken denim into another dimension with denim outerwear and trousers. This has given our Fashionistos the denim inspiration they need to take their spring wardrobe to the next level.
This Fashionisto is more than prepped for this season. His look has spring essentials: shorts, loafers and a denim button-down shirt. Lacoste and Cole Haan are his brands of choice. These brands have a huge presence in everyday men’s fashion. His shirt is perfectly cut for his slim physique, and his Burmuda shorts are the ideal length. The pairing of the shirt and shorts are coordinated and layered for the season. He doesn’t waste anytime pulling out the white shorts to give his look a cool tone. The Fashionisto’s loafers are a smooth peanut butter color. These loafers help set off the dark-washed denim shirt. The loafers also coordinate with his fancy Louis Vuitton wallet.
His look is flawless for any spring/summer occasion. I think this Fashionisto belongs at a Hamptons’ all-white party. He has the perfect style and confidence in this look. If he can’t make it the Hamptons, any summer BBQ or Fourth of July celebration would work. Any Fashionisto can follow in this Fashionisto’s footsteps and give denim a try this spring.
