I consider my personal style to be a combination of New York City-chic and chic sophistication. My wardrobe staples include a variety of colorful blouses, cigarette pants, high-waisted skirts, deep-V dresses and a variety of heels. Although I rarely stray from my personal favorites, I do have a great appreciation for the bohemian look.
Bohemian style has continued to increase in popularity over the years. The look is seen virtually everywhere, from celebrities to music festivals to college campuses. Bohemian ensembles often consist of colorful maxi skirts and dresses, vests, gladiator sandals, tunic blouses and tons of accessories. The bohemian style has taken a more modern approach as more people have embraced the look. There are now more modern touches in outfits, such as crop tops and shorter dresses. Because there are a wide range of looks one can create using bohemian pieces, you can rock the bohemian style year-round.
This Fashionista rocks the bohemian look. She takes a more modern approach with a short white dress. The dress embodies the signature flowy feel of bohemian style. To stay warm, she paired the dress with dark teal tights. She ties the look together with a pair of floral Dr. Martens. Prints, especially floral prints, are bohemian essentials. This Fashionista also added a statement necklace and bracelet. To take the look one step further, add a colorful vest or a head piece, such as a flower crown or head wrap. This Fashionista looks fantastic. Plus, the look is great for warmer winter days!
