Day by day, you don’t normally come across many guys (or as we like to call them, Fashionistos) who can properly piece articles of clothing together. That is why the authenticity of this particular Fashionisto caught my eye.
When you think of putting together an outfit for the day, you may cringe at the thought of matching two of the same colors. At one point in time, it was one of those do’s and don’ts in fashion. However, this Fashionisto dared to do what we thought was impossible. He definitely hit the jackpot when it came down to looking sharp and most importantly, pulling off two different shades of gray.
Amongst the neutral color palette, gray has always been a personal favorite of mine. Neutral tones will always remain trendy during any season. It complements all sorts of vibrant colors and can look great on all skin tones. I’m not going to lie to you though; it can be a difficult task to pull off two colors in different shades. The key is to make sure that they contrast each other so that there is some sort of balance within the two shades. Between the cool gray-feathered button down and the dark gray wool pants, he had the right idea in mind.
To finish the ensemble, this Fashionisto paired another neutral favorite: A brown leather belt and a pair of leather dress shoes, which in my opinion is great for any occasion. Let’s not forget the totally rad arm candy he’s sporting. Who doesn’t like a nice, fitted watch? Even though a few fashion barriers were broken, it all came together to be visually appealing. This Fashionisto kept a very classic style and remained calm, cool and collected.
What is your STYLE ADVICE OF THE WEEK? “My style advice of the week is to just do what you think and feel is right. Be confident in what you wear. Being confident in your style choices can really project the type of person you are. I also really enjoy taking the simple approach with my wardrobe—it never fails to impress!”
