A few ways to beat the heat this summer include light colored tanks, flowing dresses and high-waisted shorts. Out of all of these apparel choices, my favorite is to choose the perfect hat to go with one of these options. Not only does a hat keep the hair out of your face and the unbearable heat off, but it can make a pretty bold fashion statement as well.
If you’re like me, I never thought I looked good in hats nor wanted to experiment with trying them out. That changed of course as the trends grew stronger and I was admiring every girl that walked past me in a floppy hat or fedora. So naturally I picked an outfit first and bought my first fedora to match. Once I overused my new accessory I decided to try out other options as well. There are plenty of different kinds for this summer including Panama hats, fedoras, and floppy hats too. I love how this Fashionista takes this casual outfit to the next level. She pairs a white tank top with a chic floral kimono. To stay comfy of course, she chooses sandals and leggings (and why not?)! It looks great and draws her black hat in as well. This hat perfectly frames her face and gives her makeup a little glow.
