We have all been through our moms’ closets and local thrift stores. Sometimes we find things that just fit us in the most perfect way. These items are meant to be stolen (from closets) or purchased (at the store) and worn forever. This Fashionista took that to a new level. She totally rocked a high end vintage trend.
This Fashionista found a pair of wool trousers at the thrift store. They are an absolute perfect pick as the weather starts to really drop. They are a cream colored trouser with black and burgundy accents. They can been worn with a lot of different pieces (cropped sweater, band T-shirt, button-down and etc.). This Fashionista used her skills and paired the trousers with a cropped turtleneck, which is a very chic move. Plus, turtlenecks are making a major come back. More and more celebs have been rocking them lately which is super RAD.
As far as accessories go, she only wore a huge pair of sunglasses. She kept it very minimal. Adding a black wool coat breaks the look apart. She kept the top half dark and the bottom half light. The ankle boots tied this look together by making the pants the main focus of the whole outfit. This is definitely a refreshing look for millennials because it ties an older trend to a modern outfit. Mixing aged trends is something more girls and guys should try to incorporate to their own wardrobe.
Don’t be afraid to wear old trends because as they say in fashion, “Trends always repeat themselves.” So dive through vintage stores, your families wardrobe and see what’s up because you might just spot something wonderful.
