As we all may know, fashion is an unending cycle of trends that come and go every certain period of time. So I guess it’s not surprising at all that what we once thought was only used for blankets and socks is now being used as a fashion garment. Knitting has been coming and going since the 1920s, and is now here to stay as the fabric that every girl wants for their summer outfits. It amazes me how production techniques change utilities throughout the years and then come to a point where they are just used for their aesthetics.
I have no doubt there are lots of Fashionistas out there that have their own knitted crop top; and I can assure you they have been using them to music festivals such as Coachella or even as part of their bikinis in the beach.
