With winter in full swing it is important to not only look cute but also stay warm! Walking to class can feel like an eternity when the wind is blowing and the snow is falling, but by adding warm materials to your outfit, you can keep cozy. Layers keep you snug but also add dimension, texture and versatility.
This Fashionista decided to play with a lot of different materials to keep her look exciting. Her jacket has leather patches, which stand out against the cotton fabric and bold gold zippers. The black leather bag with gold detailing help the leather patches in her jacket pop out even more and helps to further incorporate the jacket. Her brown leather boots add a little bit of color but do not distract from the rest of the outfit. Her denim button-up shirt adds more texture to the look without being overbearing. She added layers to her look by topping off her outfit with a soft black infinity scarf. This Fashionista made sure that her outfit wasn’t plain and simple, even though each article of clothing was simple on its own. She added gold, leather and layers, which created depth to her outfit and made her stand out against all of the other girls on campus.
Another thing that made this Fashionista stand out was her bold lipstick. Purple lips are extremely popular right now and she used her lipstick to add color to her outfit, which I loved. Matte lips are also so in for winter. Her exact lip color is MAC Cosmetics Instigator; this color is seriously a winter must have (and it looks great on all complexions)!
