It’s basically considered a sin if you don’t wear something flowery and pastel in the summer, right? Yes. This statement is very true. But, how do you not look like a 10th grader while wearing flowers? You give it some of your own flare and dress it up! The best thing about floral is it literally can go with anything. You can pick and choose: black, brown, gold or silver… trust me, it will all work out in the end.
This Fashionista caught my eye with her floral pairings for a summer look. Since this dress is more of a rustic and faded color, brown shoes and a bag went so well with it. On the other hand, if it were a floral that contained a deeper color like red or violet, black accessories would have fit in perfectly. The main attraction of this look is for sure the dress. It is such a nice pastel color but doesn’t wash her complexion out in any way. Also, the brown accents bright out those deeper pinks in the dress. I think the balance of this outfit is fabulous.
Floral will always be in, I’m telling you. It’s constantly popping in and out of runway looks. Floral dresses are like white T-shirts. You need one! The best part is it will go with all of the simpler pieces just sitting in your closet. These simple pieces are the elements that will bring out the details of the pattern! You never know what the wonders of putting floral in your look will do. Just don’t forget a nice delicate necklace!
