With this winter weather being so warm and unpredictable, it is so hard to figure out what to wear to keep warm. Usually this time of year warrants puffy jackets and thick sweaters, but this year is a little different. This Fashionisto knows just what to do for this unpredictable weather. By wearing a cool layered look, he is able to dress for the chill weather while still looking fashionable.
The layered look is a trend for both men and women that has definitely been seen lately. When I think layered look I often think of the grunge fashion that was popular in the ‘90s where people often wore flannels under leather jackets, or simply over T-shirts. By wearing a variety of fun layers, fashionable people everywhere are able to add color and texture to their everyday outfits. Not only that, but they are able to stay warm as the weather gets cold.
This Fashionisto takes layers to the next level! With four different versatile layers he is definitely staying warm! He starts his layers with a blue T-shirt. His first layer is a red, white and blue flannel shirt, adding a fun pattern and color. Next, he layers on a gray sweatshirt for warmth and comfort. Finally, he puts on a brown leather jacket for a bit of edge and to bring all of the layers together.
What really stands out to me is how effortless he makes these many layers look. Sometimes layers can look bulky and mismatched, but by choosing a variety of thin, color coordinated layers, he is able to still look fashionable.
