Summer is always an exciting season to dress for, but can also be tricky when it comes to figuring out how to wear everyone’s favorite color, black. Black, black, black we all know that that is one color that fills up all of our closets. Sometimes it’s difficult to know how to make it look more appropriate for summer. Little black dresses (LBD’s) are popular, you see them in every fashion magazine and blog, but sometimes you want to stand out a bit more than that.
This Fashionista went an edgier route, from the “LBD” to the “LBJ”, little black jumpsuit, this Fashionista took her look to a whole other level.
When styling a jumpsuit, it’s always important to notice what is being featured in the look. This Fashionista’s look really allowed the open back to be the focal point, while still allowing her legs to steal the show. She did a great job of pairing the black with a gorgeous teal heel, really allowing the color to pop even more. She paired the look with a very delicate, gold bracelet adding a bit of sparkle and shine to the solid colors in this look. Drawing in the colors of gold and blue tones, this look was very colorful and vibrant, even though the statement piece was solid black.
What is your STYLE ADVICE OF THE WEEK? “I always pick out something simple yet stunning, and then I go for that pop of color everyone looks for during the summer. With my look, my jumpsuit was dramatic enough that I thought just a bright heel would be the perfect accessory. I really liked the way the look came out!”
