Although sneakers, flip flops and strappy sandals are perfect for the season, Birkenstock sandals are the holy grail of summer shoes. Fitting right in with the boho hippie trend, these sandals are minimal and very indie. The natural colors and thick leather straps of this shoe have become the latest summer trend.
Birkenstock sandals are a very basic shoe. Typically worn very casually, I spotted a Fashionista owning the streets of Kent in the classic Arizona style sandal. What had originally captured my attention was this Fashionista’s polka-dotted pants. Although these pants are rather casual, pairing them with a white blazer is a perfect look for work. The patterned pants add playfulness to the crisp, cleanness all white top. Wearing white on white is almost as difficult as wearing black on black, but this Fashionista pulls it off seamlessly. Wearing a tight fitting tank top under a flowing blazer like this one is great for keeping your feminine shape. Once you begin pairing too many free flowing garments, you begin to lose shape. Keeping the top half of the outfit simple allows the focus to remain on the bold pants. Slipping on a pair of Birkenstock sandals is the obvious way to finish this perfectly causal outfit.
