It may be fall time in the fashion world, but being stuck in the summer heat makes it hard to even think about the new fall trends (let alone wearing them). The transition from season to season is always a hard time for my closet and trust me, this year has been no different.
While I may find it hard to balance the seasons successfully, it can be done. Luckily, I found the perfect example with this Fashionista. She is staying cool under the sun’s rays by sticking with a light and airy dress, strappy sandals and a dainty initial necklace. However, this outfit becomes fall appropriate with the beautiful teal shade of her dress. This shade is one of fall’s top colors (Pantone is calling it Biscay Bay) and it is quickly turning into one of my favorites.
This color is in every store this fall and I’m definitely not complaining. Her dress is a great use of this new “it” color, but it is not your only option: a two-piece set or a cardigan are both just as fun! This Fashionista may be one of the first we see rocking this color, but she will not be the only. I guarantee in a few short weeks when the weather actually gets cooler and the real fall clothes come out, this dark teal hue will be everywhere you turn. I will most likely be going out and buying everything I see in this color and I know you will too. Happy shopping!
What is your STYLE ADVICE OF THE WEEK? “Shift dresses are my favorite way to dress up your look for class. They are incredibly comfortable and easy to throw on, but still look like you put a lot of effort into your outfit!”
