STYLE ADVICE OF THE WEEK: Life's Better Basic

The model off duty look is something that has been popping up all over the place as of late. It basically consists of stalking beauties like Cara Delevingne and Karlie Kloss on Instagram and gaining inspiration based off of the looks that they rock on a daily basis. You know, when they’re not doing insane photo shoots on exotic beaches or hanging out with Taylor Swift. These types of looks are usually simple and clean, with lots of black, white and neutrals, and of course a perfectly messy ‘I actually did wake up like this’ hairstyle. This Fashionista epitomized this perfectly in a classic outfit.

Black jeans are a staple for achieving this look. All you need is a perfect fit and you’re good to go! Pair that with a simple T-shirt, either in a solid white or add some flair with thin black stripes. The boxy and slightly cropped fit shown here gives better proportions to the body, rather than drowning her with too much unnecessary fabric.

Classic leather accessories bring in an earthier tone to the look. Her brown bucket bag is both functional and fashionable, perfect for walking around the streets of any city doing all the important off duty model things. (I’ve been told that includes drinking green smoothies and dating Harry Styles.) A pair of practical heeled sandals pulls everything together, toning down a look that could become too dark for these beautiful summer days.

Overall, this Fashionista looks comfortable and stylish. It’s a look that could be taken from lunch with the girls to running errands, and of course being photographed by the paparazzi looking like you don’t have a care in the world because your outfit is just that good.

What is your STYLE ADVICE OF THE WEEK? “I’m not a fan of too much jewelry since it just ends up getting in the way. Instead, I love to accessorize with my bags and shoes! It still makes a statement, plus it’s more practical. I also love that the matching shoe and bag look is coming back. That’s definitely a trend I’m going to be trying out.
