They can make a bold and trendy statement because they change up your entire look and can add a colorful personality to your wardrobe. My favorite thing to add to any outfit is a pastel handbag and some cool booties. They scream versatility and make you look high fashion without putting too much effort into your daily look.
There are many ways to incorporate this trend into your outfit. In fact, when I was chasing this Fashionista down the streets of SoHo the first thing that I noticed about her outfit was her stylish pastel bag. I wanted it for myself but I’m not that kind of New Yorker! She rocked the pastel lavender with flair and paired it with different textiles and shades of blue. Her ensemble is made up of a navy vest blazer, dark blue denim shorts and a simple soft blue V-neck tank top. I’m in love with the fact that her statement handbag just POPS; it’s the star of the show! It adds the perfect contrast to the different hues of blue in her look. This Fashionista looked chic, edgy and trendy. She finished off her look with tan ankle booties and some RAD necklace layering. Her entire look is beautifully structured and polished.
You will notice that it took one simple statement accessory to spice up this Fashionista’s outfit. I used to think that a black bag was the ultimate staple accessory because it matches everything but I’ve come to realize that color is actually the new black.
